Main Culprits Of E-Waste

Mobile Phones

The main culprit of the e-waste is the mobile phones. E-waste can be combined with computers and other electronic devices, but mobile phones are giving a strong competition among them. Every landfill and city dump is filled with mobile phones that carry deadly hazardous materials like chromium, lead and nickel. They are capable of causing serious damage to our environment and under ground water. Many throw their mobile phones away after they become old and damaged. This is because they are not aware of the recycling of mobile phones.

The number of people buying mobile phones gets richer when compared to the list of donohs for recycling. Many people are unaware that the copper in their mobile phones and chargers are recyclable. Mobile phone recycling also reduces the emission of green house gas in the atmosphere.

Lead is one of the most threatening chemicals in the circuit boards of mobile phones. It is considered as a problematic metal throughout the world. Lead is used in the circuit boards for soldering. These create cancer, abnormalities by affecting the central nervous system and immune system, as well as  affecting the kidneys. They can be disposed of properly by the recyclers. Instead of putting our mobile phones unused in drawers, we can give recycle the, and save the basic materials needed to manufacture them. The housing around the mobile phone can be used to make park decks; saxophones and so on..

Focus all your attention in recycling them in a environmentally friendly way and  say bye to pollution and e-waste.
